If you are interested in writing post, submitting photo's or just talking about this wonderful place Escena. Then please contact the blog so we can collaborate.

ReplyDeleteDavid,
ReplyDeleteThe builder is Alta Verde, and although this is one of the first builds in the desert. They are a very experienced and a well crafted builder. Phase one is sold out and Phase two will be selling shortly. The Models should be up within the next week or so.
Hi ModernKid,
ReplyDeleteThank you for this great blog resource. In our quest to set the foundation for getting off the corporate hamster wheel, my husband and I are considering a home in Palm Springs.
The Escena side of town was never on our radar, but the new Alta Verde homes have the potential to be stunning.
It seems like one has to have a bit of vision to imagine what the area will be like when 1000+ homes are finally finished.
Do you feel that it will eventually be incorporated into the social fabric on Palm Springs even thought it is on the other side of the airport?
Any thoughts are appreciated!
Hi Don,
DeleteEscena is a stunning place to live. The Alta Verde homes will be beautiful and I hope you get a chance to tour them in the upcoming weeks. The builder Lennar also has some nice homes in the community.
Escena Palm Springs is a unique 450-acre master-planned development in Palm Springs, CA, comprised of an 18-hole golf course, dining, residences and additional land slated for future residential and hotel development.
In addition to the golf course and the clubhouse, the Escena master plan provides for approximately 332 single family residences, 652 attached housing and/or multi-family units and a pad for a future hotel. No specific plan has been developed for the multi-family and hotel components, and there is no specific timetable for their development.
I think it is already incorporated into the social fabric. The restaurant draws a huge Sunday Brunch. The area is within 10 Minutes cab ride downtown and close enough to enjoy Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert dining, activities and nightlife.
Either way, the Desert is a wonderful place to settle down, buy a convertible and enjoy wonder weather. I hope the hamster ride isn't to long. :)
